As part of a series of planned meetings with representatives of 12 local governments within the LINK 4 Cooperation project, representative of the project coordinator, the Local Democracy Agency Mostar and representatives of the partner organization Local Democracy Agency Zavidovići, visited the municipalities of Zavidovići, Maglaj and Žepče on November 10 and 11.
These informative meetings referred to the education on the ELoGE program of the Council of Europe. The next steps and concrete activities of the mentioned local communities within the LINK 4 Cooperation project were also discussed.
On behalf of the Municipality of Zavidovići, the project team was welcomed by: Nermin Čahtarević – Secretary of the Municipal Civil Service, Idriz Alihodžić – Assistant Mayor for Social Activities of the Municipality of Zavidovići and Asima Merdanović – Head of the Department for Social Activities and General Administration.
The Municipality of Maglaj was represented by: Eldina Mehinagić, Assistant Mayor for Social Activities of the Municipality of Maglaj and Aida Hadžić, Director of the Center for Social Work.
On behalf of the Municipality of Žepče, the project team was welcomed by: Branka Janko, Director of the Development Agency of Žepče, and Ilija Barešić, Head of the Department of Social Activities of the Municipality of Žepče.
A total of 12 local governments from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina are included in the activities of the LINK 4 Cooperation project, with the aim of improving their capacity, transparency and accountability.
